Amanda Burton

A previous energy reporter for Petroleum Argus and ICIS Energy (formerly Heren Energy), Amanda has reported from India on energy developments and worked for many clients on energy and economic transition matters, most recently writing ESG reports for private equity firms. She has advised investors and foreign project developers on renewable energy opportunities, after spending a few years in Brussels working for the European Wind Energy Association as a policy advisor on economics and climate change. Amanda and Germana have worked extensively together over the past 2 decades, including most recently as joint editors of a Chatham House report on the future of Norway as an energy nation.

Alessandro Mariscalco

Alessandro is a photographer and film maker with extensive experience in planning, creating and delivering video content. He regularly works for Italian TV channels, and covered COP26 in Glasgow for Rai. He is committed to social and environmental justice, exemplified by his work for the Festival di Lampedusa – the first port of arrival for thousands of refugees who try to reach Europe every year. He has worked for clients such as the Italian consulate in the UK, Queen Mary University of London and many others. Alessandro has experience of working on larger film productions such as Girlfriend in a Coma and The Great European Disaster Movie (both produced by former editor of The Economist Bill Emmott) and Influx which was recently distributed on Netflix.  Alessandro and Germana have previously worked together on a video production concept for a Brussels based client.

Hannah Pearce

An experienced and versatile senior communications professional who’s advised senior leaders in various high profile settings including the House of Commons, Transport Focus, the Institutional Investors’ Group on Climate Change and many others. A journalist and film maker who covered climate change, environment, public health, transport and other sustainability issues for many years. Skilled in communications strategy, media relations, crisis communications, social media, public affairs, internal communications, external stakeholder engagement, and the effective delivery of integrated multi channel campaigns with proven results. An experienced manager, team leader and budget holder.

Neil Warhurst

Neil is an award winning script writer, content writer and creative professional. He currently works in corporate and marketing video production. He has written a variety of comedies and plays, including BBC radio shows and the feature film “Beyond the Pole”, a comedy about about two incompetent amateurs who try to walk to the North Pole to raise awareness of global warming. 

Nadia Weekes

Nadia Weekes is a senior editor with 20 years’ experience in environmental policy and renewable energy, including as editor of Windpower Monthly, ENDS Europe, Utility Europe and Water Services. She is a freelance contributor to a number of B2B publications and regularly supports clients, copy editing reports and other communication materials. Germana and Nadia met through work over 20 years ago when they were both energy/utility sector journalists and have worked together multiple times on articles and other consultancy projects, such as a recent training on “Writing for Impact” for a Brussels based non profit client.
